Barrier against humidity

Tropicalisation or varnishing, is a protection technology we use to safeguard electronic boards (PCBA) from external aggressions such as humidity, dust, corrosion, oxidation, or chemical deposits.

This treatment involves applying a protective coating, either total or localized, to the surface of the printed circuit board and its electronic components. The varnish forms an insulating barrier that protects the electronic components while maintaining the product's performance. It is compatible with different types of boards and assembly constraints, while being easily integrable into an industrial process.

While this method offers robust protection and is quick to implement, it does not meet all the requirements for extreme environments, such as those with high chemical loads, prolonged immersion, or extreme thermal variations. In these cases, other technologies such as encapsulation or overmolding must be considered.

Our expertise allows us to assist you in choosing the appropriate level of protection for your application, taking into account the functional, environmental, and regulatory constraints of your products.
